A warm welcome to GEORGBRAEU!
Brauhaus Georgbraeu is a rustic restaurant and brewery located directly on the River Spree, in the historic Nikolai Quarter. We have a seating capacity of 250 inside, spread across eight different themed rooms. Additional 350 seats are available outside to relax in our beer garden beside the River Spree.
True to the motto “hops and malt – they never get old”, our master brewer makes around 1500 hl of beer annually in our own brewery. Our mild light or dark GEORG-BRAEU is served exclusively here at the Georgbraeu. Enjoy our beer with hearty German and Berlin style cuisine: treat yourself to a home made potato soup or a delicious knuckle of pork. In part, the ingredients we use are produces locally, in the Berlin-Brandenburg region.
Whether you are looking for a cozy table for you and your family and friends, or a nice place to dine with a larger group – we provide tables in a great setting overlooking the River Spree, the Nikolai Quarter and the Saint George Monument.
You will experience not only good food and drink in Berlin’s historic district – but also gain an insight into the ancient craft of brewing.
For those particularly interested in brewing, we offer even brewery tours by request. For questions or booking requests please feel free to e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org or contact us by phone or in person. We look forward to meeting you!
The Georgbraeu is easily reached by Berlin’s S-Bahn system, subway or bus. The buses 142/257 stop right in front of Mühlendammbrücke. Bus 100 also stops on the corner of Karl-Liebknecht-Str. and Spandauerstr. Or take the S-Bahn or U-Bahn to Alexanderplatz Station and to walk along Rathausstraße, past the City Hall. Then turn left on Spreeufer. This is where you will find us.
