In his works, Heinrich Zille (1858 – 1929) has captured impressions of Berlin at that time dominated by industrialization, population growth and widespread poverty. Through his tireless work and his observations Heinrich Zille has produced an outstanding oeuvre of detailed images of urban life, that has impressed generations of people.

At Heinrich Zille Museum you can see his drawings, lithographs and photographs and also a comprehensive presentation on the life and work of the artist.
