Members of “Höfische Gesellschaft e.V.” swing by to rehearse and our visitors are having tons of fun. The dance class “Pleasure of historical dance” rehearses in historical robes in Berlin’s Nikolai quarter. Just like at previous years’ Nikolai-Festspiele, the dancers in their colorful gowns are a wonderful eye-catcher and sought-after photo motif.
This fun spectacle can be seen in our beautiful Nikolai quarter between Am Nussbaum, Nikolaikirchplatz and the Saint George monument on the banks of the Spree. Last Saturday we added a little promo tour to the Berlin Castle and Brandenburg Gate afterwards.
The training is open and whoever wants to join will quickly learn the first steps and turns. Those who would like to watch or participate, will have an opportunity to do so on the next four Saturdays. We are looking forward to the courtly visit – and yours of course – on May 20 and 27 as well as on June 3 and 10, between 12 and 3 pm.
